Sasco continues donation tradition

ALBANY, Ga. (Jan. 28, 2011)—Sasco Chemical Group Inc. has continued its 46-year tradition of supporting the Albany Boys and Girls club with a new donation.

Sasco made a donation to rebuild the technology center at the Jane Wilson Center with 25 new computers, furniture, games, carpeting and other items. “The new lab gives youth that do not have computers at home a place to do their homework and prepare themselves for a bright future,” said President Marc Skalla, noting that the support to the club has spanned three generations of ownership.

The new technology center was donated in memory of Carolyn Skalla, “the matriarch of the Sasco Corp.,” he said.
