Sasco aids in tornado relief

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (May 3, 2011)—Sasco Chemical Group Inc. has sent trucks loaded with generators, bottled water and supplies to Tuscaloosa in support of the company’s clients in the area that were affected by massive tornado damage last week.

Sasco said it is planning to send more water, toilet paper and other supplies this week.

The company said it is encouraging others in the rubber industry to follow suit.

“We have many rubber customers in the affected area whom have supported Sasco for many years, and we feel it’s imperative for ourselves and others to get involved,” said President Marc Skalla.
